DELL Streak 5 Tablet PC looks pretty catchy and attractive. Due to its small size, it looks more like a smartphone , rather than Tablet. No more round corners of the body. Tablet is made from high quality and durable plastic coated soft touch. By which the model fits the hand. The display model is covered with Gorilla glass, perfectly protecting it from scratches.
Dimensions of the tablet form 152x79x10 mm and weighs only 220 grams. The model is not much heavier than usual smartphone.
Processor & Memory
DELL Streak 5 Tablet have sufficiently fast mobile processor 1 GHz frequency and 1 GB RAM device that provides good performance for most applications. Own a permanent memory of 2 GB model, but there is a slot for memory card, the device can read cards up to 32GB.
Powered Tablet PC operating system Android 2.2 a shell “Stage User Interface”. The platform is very simple and easy to use. Shell is a proprietary system from a fairly large set of branded widgets and applications.
Display
DELL Streak 5 tablet is equipped with high quality 5-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The levels of brightness, contrast and color matrix is very high. Brightness even enough to make the picture remains readable even under intense sunlight.
Interfaces
DELL Streak 5 Tablet PC works over cellular networks, 3G, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA, GSM900 / 1800/1900. Wireless communication with external networks and peripheral devices through the tablet provides in-built modules Wi-Fi 802.11g and Bluetooth 2.0 .
Camera
The tablet is equipped with two cameras: Main 5 megapixel with autofocus and VGA camera for video calls. Quality does not shine either. The camera settings are standard.
DELL Streak 5 tablet pc shows the presence of in-built accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and light sensor.
Battery operation
DELL Streak 5 Tablet pc comes with removable lithium-polymer battery capacity of 1530 mAh. At constant work on Internet can hold about 8 hours. In standby mode the battery is discharged in two days. Performance is not too impressive.
